Car is stuck in first will not go back to Park
The car is not going back to reverse or park position its also stuck in first gear. I did get a little bit of water into the shifter, I waited a day to see if it would dry out but no luck. Does anyone have instructions on how to replace the shifter module ?

take off your gearshift knob, lift up carefully your gearbox console covers (3 pieces) disconnect wiring to windows, traction control etc. I used compressed air to clean out around tranny housing and cotton buds. That did wonders for the problem you describe (mine did the same). If its moisture, once you clean that out it should be fine.
Or depending on what mileage you are at it could be you need replacement Transmission Conductor Plate + Connector + Filter Gasket. I am on 170k so am heading to get this done in the next few weeks. That & a shifter module...
