Clk500/550 brake retrofit
Hello,
I've been throwing around the idea of installing the c32/clk500/clk550 brake system on my 2002 E55.
So far some say it is an excellent upgrade due to the slightly better braking performance, but lower cost replacement parts.
Others say it isn't worth it.
Long story short, I've found a full 4-wheel set of clk550 Oem brakes for an excellent price and I'm tempted to pull the trigger.
The only thing stopping me is not knowing what I will have to do to my stock 18" monoblocks.
I want to keep them.
Hhubcentric spacers? What size?
If it turns out I can make this work I'm going to pull the trigger and do a full DIY Step-by-step w/pics.
