Hello all

Like the title said, are there any official production number for the W210 E55? How's about the Designo? Thank you for pointing me to the right direction.

2001 E55 AMG

Would anyone know when production began for the AMGs yearly? I have an E55 with a build date of jan 2001.. must be one of the first in that year.

2002 E55 AMG Obsidian Black with Charcoal

Most auto manufactures start the new models in beginning of August. Ending the previous year in mid-late July. Two weeks (or so) for the change over to the new model.

An example: for the 2002 model year, production would start on August 1, 2001 and end July 15, 2002.

I do not know for sure, but I am guessing that Mercedes Benz did/does the same.

IIRC, 2000 C43 there were less than 25 in US. Also, I test drove a 2005 SL65 before too, but there are none in your little table.
