CANT DECIDE!?
Hey guys I am back in the market for a benz. I owned a 99 C43(loved it) which was unfortunately rear ended and written off.. i went off to purchase a 99 clk430 which I had sold to pay for school.. But I need a car again for workk..
MY choices are:
1999 E55 AMG with 230K KM on the clock.. seems like its in decent condition
not a fan of the styling
or
1998 CL500 with 240k KM on the dial... Rebuilt title as well from a rear end..
I drove this cl it seemed a bit under powered and steering was really loose..
I have yet to drive the e55 but im sure its similar to the c43 i owned.
So what are your opinions on... Reliability, comfort, ride, performance etc..?

2001 E55 AMG
I daily drive a 2001 E55. It is very comfortable! The ride is firm, but not harsh at all. I have only had one problem come up so far, and that was a driver side spring perch up front. It cost me around 75 dollars in parts, and about 4 hours to fix myself. Other than that, it has been great! The power of the car is suprising, it looks like "Just another sedan", but it push the skinny pedal down and it will grab your attention quickly. I do manage to get around 24 mpg average with it currently, and have gotten up to 27 highway.
