Glad to hear you got it sorted out. How did you set the preload? micrometer?

Ex-Mercedes dealer mechanic did the pre-load, 80% of Mercedes mechanics here use the old-school method.
When I get an alignment I'll ask the dealer to re-set the pre-load using a dial indicator.
