Rear suspension upgrade with face-lift?

If you read about the W210 AMG wikipedia in one section it says:

E55 after 2000 supplemental information
Suspension

Front: Independent double wishbone with coil springs, gas-pressurized shock absorbers and stabilizer bar.
Rear: Independent 5-arm multilink with coil springs, gas-pressurized shock absorbers and stabilizer bar. (Separate AMG-Bilstein gas-pressurized shock absorbers and progressive-rate coil springs. Larger, solid stabilizer bars.)

The last part is specific to this section. Does that mean the suspension changed with the face-lift? I can't find any evidence to support the change. So was it the same? Or did it change?
Thank you for your responses.

I read that It's the same basic setup, the difference is the dampening rate.
