just picked up a 2000 E55 that needs some cosmetic work. I am going to fix the scuffs on the wheel and will need to repaint them. I am debating on going with the factory silver or maybe a dark color like gunmetal grey (I do not like black).

I thought the gunmetal might add some contrast since the body is silver.

Opinions?

To each his own, but my opinion is that you might regret that contrast, I've seen it and it doesn't do anything for the car. I would recommend matching the stock color.
