A big thanks to all who contribute here.
The w210 e55 has been a dream car since I first saw it in middle school. Through much research on this forum, I decided that if I found the right one it was worth the buy.
Ended up finding a 2000 with 80k miles on it, only 15k in the past 8 years. Single owner, all history from dealer (was even getting car washes there).
I've learned so much from your contributions, and knew what to look for. I even did the aux cord hack with the tape player (soldering L and R channel etc) the first few days in. I've Leatheriqued the interior, which I highly recommend, and today i clay barred and waxed. Doing new motor mounts and plugs and wires next week. I may also soon do the secondary cat and resonator delete.
This car has been a dream so far, and I hope to preserve it in it's great state for years to come. Thanks to you guys for your passion for vehicles and helping out your fellow gearhead.

Go for the reso/secondary delete, you won't regret it.. Unless you don't grin at that pure AMG sound.
Welcome brother.

Welcome brother. What does the cat/resonator delete usually run? Had a guy quote it at upper $200s...
Nice to see the enthusiasm on these cars. Not even 24 hours of ownership was under my belt when I was in slow traffic downtown and a guy ran out from a restaurant and wanted to buy it
It's a cool car because most people don't get it, but this who do are passionate about it!

You will absolutely love this car with time. It's so easy to work on and the guys on here very knowledgeable and also passionate about their AMG. This is a car that I just can't sell. Not to mention it's just a Blast to Drive!
Start w/the exhaust it's pretty cheap and a excellent way to unleash the MOD bug
Welcome aboard brother

*I also purchased Leatherique I'm waiting for it to get warmer and nice tip on the Rubber care. I've meaning to pick something up that would take care of the rubber seals
