I found these in the trunk....
...is it safe to unplug and remove them? As far as I've heard, they are redundant and cannot be upgraded, so they are just added weight. Will it affect the operation of the car if they are gone? (I tried to resize the photos, but it didn't work...sorry)

If anyone can guide me to where I can size my photos, I (and many others) would appreciate it. I tried the "How to..." here at MB and it didn't seem to work. The resizer said they were small. I'd hate to see large.
I removed the stock Bose Amp. I would think it's the same thing.
If you already have aftermarket HU, you wouldn't be able to use these anyway.
However, don't throw it. Keep it with you just in case you needed to re-install the stuff.
As for resizing pics, I use Windows Paint.

Thanks guys. The navi just gives me pics of downtown somewhere in Japan, and the phone is the totally wrong area code for me. I'm not giving up completely on the navi system yet (but I will remove it) as it is CD driven and I'm hoping I can get a new/different disc.
Solo wing: thanks, I'll try Windows. I used the Photo Resizer, that I thought was Windows, but apparently not.
