OBD II port location

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here would know the location of the OBD II port on my '99 E55T. I was thinking of doing a tune.

If it's a Euro spec car like mine, it doesn't have an OBD2 port, just the 38 pin connector under the hood. What tune were you looking at?

My '99 has a little black plastic cap that hides the location. Just below where the driver's left knee cap would be (or maybe it is on the right knee cap - can't remember). I usually need a flash light to locate it or, if outside, swing the driver side door open to let daylight in and put your head below the steering wheel - you will see it.

sorry i forgot about this thread. i was thinking of a eurocharge tune. they run for a good price and i don't have to ship my ECU around to get it done. Any idea if the 38pin connector can be used for a tune. Also my cars isn't USDM of eurospec but JDM. its a '99 so i may have just overlooked the port when i was underneath the steering wheel.

speaking of this tune I'm also wondering if this will effect my ESP in any way. its old enough that the ESP will completely turn off when i tell it to.
