Could be a few things..Did you get a decent radiator or a cheap Ebay knockoff made in China?...In very rare cases a blown HG will allow compression into the cooling system and cause excessive pressure...My bet is you just got a bad radiator...Send the other back and demand a refund.

Start with a compression test. You can also test the coolant for compounds found in exhaust gasses.

Another hint of a bad HG would be your radiator hoses swelling up soon after starting(when cold)..It would be much more common for you to have gotten a faulty radiator than having a blown HG on this particular engine...Ive gotten plenty of bad radiators over the years.Consider that barely any of them are made of aluminum and instead cheap plastic..Even the Behr is cheaply made..I just changed my factory unit at 67k with a new Behr unit..My car has been serviced religiously with Blue MB coolant..
