Winter Maintenance
Next on the list was new motor mounts and tranny mount. I changed the oil and tranny fluid while I was there.
I wanted the car to ride like new so I rebuilt the complete front suspension using new lower and upper control arms, balljoints, sway bar links, and front wheel bearings and seals. I did brakes last summer so I turned the rotors and installed new pads and painted the calipers red. The car also received H&R springs and Blistien sport shocks last year.
After going over all the front stuff I figured I'd do the rear wheel bearings and rear diff mounts. I also turned the rotors and painted the calipers. I also removed the rear diff and I'm waiting to here back from Phantom grip about install there LSD. If they cant do it I'm going to order a Quaife.
I'm pretty sure the car should ride much better than it did. It currently has 230k and will go up once I start to daily drive here. I considered buying an E63 and looked at a few but decided to spend some money on the E55.
