New to this forum but I Just bought my dream car today. I'm really stoked about my new to me 2001 E55! Unfortunately I had a slight mishap driving it home from the windswept plains of Illinois today. The wind gusts apparently ripped my driver side impact strip off my front bumper and I didn't notice until I was refueling back in Missouri. Got more disappointed when I started the search for a new one. Unpainted with no chrome strip or lens is nearly $150! I noticed on the forum people had recommended Steve @ mbenz.nl but when I go to the site I can't read it. Really was hoping to find someone here with a brilliant Silver one for sale. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. Trying to avoid buying one with broken tabs but it may be hard. Hate for it to fall off again though...

Since you car is silver it should not be too hard to find one. Try your local junk yard. They are the same on all facelifted w210s
