accelerating in w or s mode
unless i floor it my car seems a little sluggish in w or s mode (just changed the shifter because it failed due to fluid contamination and no difference) and unless im missing something there is no dash light confirmation you are in w or s mode either. BUT... if i shift myself from 1 to 5 it is a rocket ship, for 350 hp seems low, lol. is this normal for this car?

W mode is for winter = 2nd gear starts, different gearing for reverse, maybe some other differences as above.
If you want to go fast and have the traction, you want to be in S mode. 2nd gear on these cars is super tall (110km/h!), I've found that when in traffic and I want to go, I manually shift the trans to 2 to avoid 2-3 downshifts to get into the powerband. I share the view that a 350hp car should feel quicker in traffic, the issue is the transmission gearing and programming. Manual mode is the answer.
