E55 power seat question
Just bought a black/black '02 E55. Drove it down to AZ from Spokane, WA through all that awful weather in Oregon and California. Bought studded snows for the sleet, ice, snow. That's a longer story for another post.
The driver's side seat back does not adjust forward at all. It does recline, but I don't want it reclined any further. The multi-contour bladders don't work, either, but I think that's a different problem.
Any ideas on the power seat back? The bottom does adjust fore-aft, but the leading edge of the seat bottom also does not adjust; only the rear of the seat bottom.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Look at replacing the seat adjuster switches in the driver's door. Worked for me on my W210. Be advised you should purchase some industrial adhesive from your hardware store and a few small C-clamps as the door panel will likely pull apart. Be sure to purchase 10 or so "fastener clips, inner door panel" as the old ones will break. Door panel removal tools are a worthwhile investment.

The symptom on mine was the seat would move using the memory buttons but would not respond to the individual switches.
PM me your email address and I will send you a schematic of your car's electronics.
