Continious BEEP-BEEP-BEEP.
Strangest thing. My 00 E55 suddenly began to continuously beep as I was driving to work this morning. This went on for a minute or so. Then, it suddenly stopped beeping. Has anyone heard of (pardon the pun) or have had this experience? No malfunction code showing.

are you refering to speed limiter being engaged?

No. I have a suspicion that this constant tone or beep has something to do with the SOS button near the rear view mirror. As I was pulling into my garage last night, this repeated tone started again. About ten seconds later, it stopped. Annoying.

Exactly what I had in mind. Hopefully, it will be as simple as removing a fuse. Very busy with work. So it has to wait until have time to investigate.
