Supercharger on W210 E55 from the W211????
So i have read a few post regarding the topic and yes i know it is easiest to sell the 210 and just buy the 211 which comes charged.
Kleeman just got back to me and they want 12,500usd + headers and plus installation.. which is insane. For American cars you can buy a charger from 2K-6k average.. wtf is so special in this case?

Here's the million dollar question.. if the w211 is the same 5.4L V8 - would it be possible to install the OEM S/C from the 211 onto my 210?

What I took from this loud and clear was the following:

1. Sell W210
2. Buy W211

E55 2006 / CLS55 / S450 / Jag XKR2011
Just get the W211 E55 and it's cheap today to mod.
Eurochage Header with ECU tune about $1K.
Supercharger pulley $400
crank pulley about $700
82mm TH about $1k

Total 3K and 650hp at crank.

They made around 12,000 W210 E55s. They're not a real common car and there's a very small number of owners that are going to want to supercharge one. Something like a supercharger is not going to be cheap since they aren't going to sell many of them.

From Wikipedia:

Production Figures. ~12000 accounted for (production Models). 3000 per year. 500 per year imported to North America.

I believe there is a guy who did this, search you Tube. A lot of work and money. I am by no means any kind of expert but I would wonder if the engine could handle it without a fresh rebuild. Maybe find an engine and computer as a package deal out of a salvage donor.
