Could it be an internal MB casting number?
A lot of Harley parts have casting numbers on them that won't show up in our system. One example is a cylinder head that has p/n 17250-07 cast into it but the actual part number for that head is 17331-08A. That first part number wouldn't show up in our system but the second one would. You would find heads for different models with that same number cast into them as they all use the same base head.
