I put cheap tires on my E63 (Sumitomo HTR ZIII). The car eats through tires so there's no reason to buy expensive ones when most of the miles it sees are on the freeway. I'm running the same tires on my wagon. For the price, they're great. It'd be a waste of money to run something like PSS on it.

you could reduce your tire problems with these arms.
cheap chinese tires could be very dangerous on the road, like Bon Jovi's Slippery when wet.
are they DOT approved?
it's all about ride comfort, cabin noise, road safety and braking safety in wet, no chinese low budget tires can offer these important criterias.
like they say you get what you pay for!
in cold climate low budget tires turn into stiff hockey pucks.

I couldnt have said it better
Nothing is more important than your tires they are the only part of your car that touches the ground, they make all the difference in the world you get what you pay for you can have a good handling car that handles like junk on cheap tires nothing has as much affect on the ride and handling of your car as the tire I would never put cheap tires on anything that I drvie I wouldn't buy anything but Michelin or bridgestone

do you have adjustable rear camber arms?

Sumitomos are not terrible and seem to wear well. The HTR ZIIis are a little softer than the ZIIs but their traction is still poor on the rears. I hear that the Achilles ATR Sport are not bad tires for around $90-100. Nexens will often start to dry rot or crack before they wear through and their traction goes from just "meh" to ice skates as they wear. I have better luck getting 2-3 year-old NOS Pilot Sports or P-Zeros. Even after sitting on a shelf for a few years they last and perform better than cheaper tires. I usually target $100 or less per tire. The P-Zero Asymmetric is a pretty good all-rounder.

We've gotten way off topic but I think Hankook, Toyo, and Federal all offer some top-shelf performance tires as well. Sometimes performance can be found at a bargain. I accidentally ordered a set of off-brand 335 50 15 once for a car with similar torque to our E55s and they cut a 1.8 60-foot time at the strip.

The 595RS-RR is a great summer high performance tire if you are somewhere that doesn't see rain for a few months at a time, or on a fair-weather only car. Definitely NOT a daily driver friendly option. Metric ****-ton of grip for not a lot of $. Edit: I should point out that these are DOT race tires that will survive on the street for a few months. They are a lot like the Potenza RE70R for 1/3 to 1/2 of the price.
