SRS light on

My SRS light is on and my Indie mechanic, while good, has stated he can not work on the sensor pad in the seat.

Does anyone know of a mechanic in Brooklyn, NY who can work on this issue.

Thank you for your help

A gaggle of MB's
Just so you know the "issue" normally boils down to one of two things (1) failure of the seat sensor/pad which requires replacement - involving pulling the bottom seat cover - replacing the pad (2) rarer - a "short" in the wiring/connector on the pad side.

A eBay "emulator" can be used at the connector to eliminate to SRS trigger - in any event I think you will need SDS to reset the SRS light

the problem is definitely the pad sensor. I am trying to find a place other than the dealer than can re[place it since my mechanic has told me he can not do it.

Thank you
