This is a spectacular W210 E55 AMG Mercedes with a documented history of responsible adult enthusiast ownership. I estimate that I have approximately 90% of the service records, dating back to the first owner (see photos of receipts). I have these service records summarized in a spreadsheet that is available for view at https://drive.google.com/file/d/11Qc...ew?usp=sharing

Here's a brief history of the car's owners:
• Owner #1 - the first owner was a high-ranking NAVY official who purchased the car from Mercedes in Arlington. He lived in Woodbridge and commuted to Norfolk regularly, resulting in 65,000 highway miles during the car's first 3 years of life.

• Owner #2 - the second owner was Owner #1's service advisor at Mercedes of Arlington. He knew the car really well and kept it serviced and in pristine shape during his ownership.

• Owner #3 - Lives in the Arlington area and is a Mercedes enthusiast like the previous owners. Upon purchasing the car, he invested in a very expensive aftermarket warranty, which he used liberally to address any small issue that came up. Most repairs were done at the Mercedes dealership or Mercedes specialists.

• Owner #4 - That's me. I purchased the car from the previous owner because he had taken an interest in flying and was selling off some of his cars in order to fund the more expensive new hobby. I bought this specific E55 because, at the time, it was the cleanest and best-documented example I could find. After I purchased the car, I took it to Silver Star Motors in Vienna for a thorough inspection and all mechanical issues were addressed at that time at a cost of $3100 (see 7/28/2016 service record). Since then, the car has only needed an AC system revamp and new valve cover gaskets, which were both taken care of.

I am now selling because I moved on to my next holy grail car that I recently purchased, a 2003 M Tech 540i 6MT. The BMW is now taking up my available time and attention, and I do not drive the E55 very much.

I believe that the photos and summary of service speak for themselves, so I do not need to go into great detail about the car's pros and cons, but I will elaborate on the general details that are important to disclose:

Pros:
- Current VA safety and emissions completed this month
- Mechanically in perfect condition with no known issues
- Always loved and cherished by previous owners
- Clean Carfax and documented service history from day one
- Tires have approximately 70% tread remaining
- Never modified, raced, abused, etc. This car has always been in the hands of responsible adults.
- All buttons and electronics work, including the rear sunshade.
- No check engine lights or other warning lights
- Up-to-date on all service and ready for many years and miles of worry-free driving
- AUX input to the factory stereo

Cons Exterior:
- There are several small dings on the body. All are small and barely visible. They can easily be removed with paintless dent removal. See photos.
- This car has driven a lot of highway miles so there is some light road rash on the front bumper. It's only visible upon close inspection, therefore I never saw the need to repaint the bumper. See photos.
- The passenger-side fog light is cracked. I sealed with silicone glass sealant and it's holding up well, water/dirt is not getting inside the lamp. See photos.
- Some parking bumps on the rear bumper that are typical for a car that spent its life in the DC area. They are covered up with touch-up paint. See photos.

Cons Interior:
- Small hole in the driver's seat bolster. See photos.
- Headliner in the back and on the sunroof cover is starting to loosen. As a temporary solution, I am using cloth pin screws to hold it in place so that it does not get worse. See photos.
- There are a few small cracks on the dash. See photos.
- The OBD II connection bracket is loose behind the kick panel (below the steering wheel). It is still accessible by simply pulling it out from behind the kick panel. See photos.
- The vanity mirrors on both head visors are missing covers. I have one of the covers. See photos.
- When you turn on the lights, the dash will give a "Lamp Defective" warning message. This is a common issue with Mercedes vehicles from this generation and the warning message is easily reset with the press of a button on the steering wheel. The culprit is likely a bulb connector in of the rear lights that needs to be cleaned. All the lights on the car (exterior and interior) work as they should.

I hope that this descriptive post, the photos, and the car's service history will answer most of your questions. If you are curious about anything else, please email me and I will get back to you within a day. I am available to show the car in the Springfield VA area (zip 22151); weekends are best. I am not in a hurry to sell the car and I truly hope that I can find a buyer who will appreciate and love this car; there are not many of them left in this condition.
