New Owner!
Just wanted to hop in and introduce myself. I picked up this gorgeous 2002 E55 AMG this past Saturday after a good friend of mine let me know when it was traded in. I've been looking to retire my Supercharged E92 M3 from DD duty and this fit everything I was looking for. It is a single owner, 68k miles, black on black with full maintenance records going back to new as it was serviced at the same Mercedes dealer it's entire life. I'm going to use this to document the maintenance and repairs. Here are some pictures of it! I should have permanent tags for it this week, currently driving on the dealer's plates as they couldn't register it on the weekend.
Over the next few weeks, I'm going to be re-sealing the valve covers/breathers, replacing the engine and trans mounts, changing the oil, replacing the front tires, and aligning it. I'm also going to have the wheels refurbished to get rid of the rash that it has in a few spots.
Does anyone know what kind of wing this is?
Thanks!

Ordered a modified Becker Headunit today from Becker Auto Sound and I am working on getting the fog lights back to factory as the P/O put HID's in them. That should get me a fresh state inspection and then we will keep rolling down the list of projects!

Not that big of a deal to remove the wing, fill the holes, prep and paint the thing.
Would be much better than having that unsightly wing onboard.
