Engine Oil Pan Reseal
So I'm leaking from my upper and lower oil pan. What is the approved sealant for resealing this. Also How difficult is this repair? Book time says it's 9 hours but they also said the engine mounts where 4 for both sides and I had those done in under a hour. While I am in there anything I should check for or reseal?

I have not on the w210. On the 211, the upper is a *****; you pull the motor and trans to get access. The lower isn't too bad. I believe that for the 210upper the exhaust must be removed and the engine raised a good bit to access everything, or support the motor and drop the front subframe and steering rack. .

I don't have much to add since I have not done this, but on the other forum I found this . My lower is leaking as far as I can see so Im debating whether I should both at once or just simply resolve my seepage on the lower.
