hello, please could someone help me diagnose this K40 relay?
actually not sure if im in the best section here, even though my car is a W210 AMG its not a V8 model. i have the E36 AMG which has the 3.6 litre straight six M104 engine.
car starts with 12v supply to the starter motor and key in the start position. but only 4 out of the 5 relays on the K40 module are working. i put a red circle around the one that is not. does anybody know if this would stop the car from cranking?

look at this diagram it says that controls the motor. It doesn't specify anything on witch motor but maybe starter?

thanks for that "Turbo1k", just bought a 2nd hand one off ebay to see if that works. i still cant tell from the diagram though what each relay does? i need more info.
That last response didn’t send what I was trying to. Sometimes I can figure out this forum **** from my phone.
Oh well either way it looks like the k40k2 is for the starter circuit. If I can find the diagram again I’ll post it.
