HELP - intermittent stalling

I have a 2002 E55 with 205K miles. it has recently started to, sometimes, just shut off at idle. No rhyme or reason. It can go days without issues or do it several times in the same day. It can take a few minutes or a few hours for it to restart.

I recently had it idling in the driveway for 15 minutes or so and then nothing.

Any suggestions?

Fuel Filter and/or Fuel Pump perhaps?

Attach a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail. When the engine quits, check your fuel pressure. That will help you determine if it is fuel or electrical related (i.e. CPS).

My 2002 W210 E55 started cutting out and I believe it's the filter/pump. I haven't driven it since Oct 2017. Sadly I've been lazy with the work I want to do.
