Converting to AWD

So I love my E55, last year production of 02. All the bells and whistles and I don't wanna part with it. I need AWD. So I bought a 02 e430 4matic, so far it seems pretty cut and dry, I'm gonna transfer the AWD system to my E55. Has anyone done this before?, search came up negative. Seems like I just need to transfer the front suspension Transfer case, TCM and harness.

In the past I consider this. I think there were a small number of 210 e55s in Europe that were 4matics. There is a company in Holland that can make the conversion. I gorget the exact name but the company has NL in the name. The owner is a expert as I recall. I think there is something that has to be done so the more powerful engine does not burn out the drive chain. He may give you some advice.

Compare at the passenger side floor.
The 4 matic has a space for the transfer case. Best put the e55 engine in the 4matic chassis.
