E55 Climate control back lights not working
All,
I searched but couldnt find anything on this. I just noticed this morning that my back lights on the climate control section of the dash are not illuminating. When driving in the dark its a bit hard to see what is going on with the temp and the controls. Any help is appreciated. TIA

if it doesn't light up, it could be the bulb. Like a radio, get the keys to pull the unit out and there is a twist in bulb to replace. run a search for the bulb type. it should be a few bucks.

had the same problem 2 weeks ago bulb was cheap. Autohausz az sells it for a buck or two. It was only 1 small white bulb underneath. To be honest you don’t need those removal keys but they are nice to have. I got mine out with a Swiss army tool combo thingy. Just used a flat blade on each side till they both popped out of the center. Hope this helps
