I picked this beast up 3 months ago in New Jersey. It has 82000 miles, it took almost 2 months to get it up in these conditions, New MAF, valve cover gaskets, breather covers and hoses, new wires, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, cabin and charcoal filters, pulley, belt tensioner, and belt, thermostat, temperature sensor, coolant flush, oil and filter change, front and rear rotors and pads, and some suspension work, monoblocks refinished, newer tires etc. Did all the work myself, and lots of cleanup. IAM waiting on vogtland springs to lower the car. The interior is like new and smells new. Also did the secondary cats and resonator delete. Here's some pics.

Very nice and with all the maintenance done, car is good for another 80K miles. I have an 02 as well bought with 65K miles 18 months ago and the more I drive it, the more I want to drive it. Lovely cars. Congrats again.

Gorgeous car mate. I've been trawling through the E55 section as I love these cars so much and I really dig yours.
Is it kept outside? Have you had any issues with the weather from keeping it outdoors?
Most cars are kept outside. My E55 is kept outside. Why the concern of keeping a Mercedes W210 or any car outside?
Nah, no concern at all. I want to buy an E55 AMG but my garage space is limited so I was wanting to know if others kept theirs outside and how they faired with weather etc. as I would be keeping mine outside too

I will say that UV sunlight is prolly the biggest issue on paint. Plus acid rain in my area etches paint. Invest in a good quality all weather car cover from Covercraft. Expect to pay $300 to $400.
How does the Kleeman headers/DP affects the car's driving and the sound? Does it feels noticeably quicker and what about the smell in the cabin? What power do you think a tune would get out of it?
It definitly pulls harder now, the exhaust is straight through the amg muffler, no primary secondary cat no resonator, and an xpipe. It smells a little bit. There is no drone though. Iam still waiting on the eurocharged ecu tune.

Great ... Are kleeman headers good? I thought I heard to buy MLB or something like that over the Kleeman's, any idea? What's EC charging you for the tune and are only fixing the CEL or little bit of tune?

You live near Cinti?
they seem quality, for the price you can't do better. Fitment was excellent, used new gaskets and nuts. Its getting an actual tune. $449
