help from w210 crowd please. i have w208 that i'm tinkering of adding hood vent. i like the subtle look of the car and dont want to add something too dramatic. since w210 share similar style as w208, was hoping to have similar vent as its bigger sibling. what i want to know is where does the vent sit with respect to the engine? is right over the MAF/TB area? tried to look at various pics and couldn't really figure it out on my own... lol i do have w210 e55 but its in a diff location and with covid i will not be travelling there anytime soon.

It's right above MAF/TB, the drain box slopes around the factory air box and tucks in very tight. I once removed the inner drain box and ran it around town without for a while to see if the car ran any cooler and didn't notice much difference. It's a nice style touch for sure though and would help shed heat.
