Ohhh snap. My new seats, ordered from Germany, were stuck in customs. Finally arrived 8 weeks later. Should have them installed within the next two weeks. Waiting on Planted raving 996 fixed seat brackets. Yes I bought two, there is another in the box. Also got Recaro aluminum brackets.

Nice, I should do this to my worn drivers seat for next year. Did you weigh the old seats? I've read they're like 40-50kg each.

I’m trying to find seat brackets to mount a racing seat in my W210. The post said you used 996 seats did they require modifications to work and could you provide a link where I can purchase them.

The PO installed the seats in the car and though they are great seats but I am not too fond of them
They would be put up FS as soon as I find a nice set of stock E55 seats or I might replace them with the sliding brackets/rails.
Heck who knows I might just put the dang car on sale too

preface lift e55 seats have significantly more bolstering than facelift e55 seats
