heater control valve replaced still no heat

Good evening gents,
Just purchased a 2004 E55 AMG, 80k miles. Great car, in excellent condition. I read about the no heat issues, watched some videos and bought a new MB valve from the dealer. Installed it today and still no heat. What is the next step in the troubleshooting process? Thanks in advance for the help.

Its a complicated system. Go to MB WIS for all the details and correct diagnosis

Thank you Plutoe, is there a subscription or plan you suggest, or best to just take to a local mechanic? I have tools and ability but not familiar with MB. I also have the battery Icon visit workshop message. A new battery was just installed. I am wondering if the aux battery is bad? Thanks for the help
