Hi W210 family!

I was wondering if headers (not stock manifolds) for the W210 E55 AMG will fit the R171 SLK55 AMG?

This thread was covered in the MBWorld forums, whereby SLK55 headers (such as Kleemanns) would NOT fit the W210, but could W210 headers fit the SLK55?

Greatly appreciated if anyone has any experience with this!

Hope you get your answer from the manufacturer and, when you do, please let us know. Just not following the logic of posting about the fit of an SLK part in a E55 forum. Did you post this question in the SLK55 section? Would think you would have a much higher success rate given the people on that forum own an SLK and have maybe even modded it.

Hi BlownV8, yes I posted there as well because you never know. I wanted to see if anyone from both forms might have any idea, because finding headers for the SLK is tough because of only a few choices.

AFAIK;
98-02 "W210 E430/E55" Right header is more thick, it won't fit, cause firewall on SLK55 is kinda narrow,
and "W210 E430/E55" Left header will hit the steering gear shaft joint..!,,

*04-10 "R171 SLK55" sharing the same headers with:

A) Left side,
"W203 C55 & W209 CLK500/CLK55 & W211 E500/ E55 & W219 CLS500/CLS55 & R230 SL500/SL55".

B) Right side,
"W203 C55 & W209 CLK500/CLK55 & R230 SL500/SL55".

Thanks Zayed! SUPER helpful info! Looks like I need to find either Kleemann headers or others (Moscow Supercharge, MBH, Supersprint), which is specific to the R171 SLK55

Do yourself a favor and buy MBH long tubes. M113 NA motors pick up 40whp from them. Your slk55 will love that.
