W210 E55 Dyno

I just dyno'ed my 2000 e55, it gave me some weird readings, first this dyno was different from others i have seen, first they took off my rear wheels and inserted some kind of adapter that slide inside the dyno box in each side of the car and then they ran the car(they said this dyno is more accurate cause it takes the reading of the hubs not the wheels) well i know you loose some power to the drivetrain and all but i was very sad to see my readings, maybe you can help me out on this.

First the temp was 94 degrees F and 42% humidity.

Hp at 5764 rpm was 260.7hp and TQ was 270.5

My car is stock has 33k miles

Well this is my base line like everyone recommends before i start upgrading.

Are theses readings correct or that dyno is wacked?

260rwhp? That seems very low. The stock ones i've seen ranges from 272-301.

Depending on the dyno and the car, losses should be 18-23%. Worse case is 260.7 X 1.18 = 307.626, not good. X 1.23 = 320.661 HP. So even if you have the worst case losses, your down almost 30 HP from where you should be. Did they correct for temp and altitude? Have you ran it through the 1/4 for time? I think they were using an "eddie current" dyno. They all will read a little different. Does it seem to have "lost a step"? If not, I wouldn't be concerned unless the readings vary noticeably between several pulls. If that's the case, I'd find another dyno.

Iam not familiar with this type of dyno but I made 287hp and 302tq and I thought I was on the low side Go to another dyno and make sure there is AMPLE ventilation.
