w210 humming noise/vibration

Hey guys, I know that the topic of the "humming" around 60mph when on the gas has been discussed before, and I think that one person(at least) said that their mechanic attributed the noise to the exhaust. Has anyone actually fixed this problem to their satisfaction? Thanks!

Nope - I got the same issue on mine - I just attribute it to an resonant oscillation in the engine-to-exhaust chain under certain conditions...It used to bother me a lot, but I've learned to ignore it, since I rarely drive 60-65 anyway... .
