Battery for W210 E55 - Brand, Ampere?
My W210 E55's battery is dying
Any recommendation for the aftermarket brand and ampere? Will the size fit perfectly? Should I stick with OEM battery?
Also, I've never opened my back seat where the battery is located. Anyone here knows whether W210 E55 still has a hose for gas / condensation outlet?

Have you seen it? That thing is huge! I hope you can find a suitable aftermarket replacement, but I have a feeling the dealer has the lock on those and you won't find one that fits anywhere else. Good Luck. Let us know the outcome.

Really?
I've never seen it..... Three questions for those who can help:
- How to open the back seat? Do I pull the side where the back seat meet the carpet? Or... do I pull the side where the back seat meet the back rest?
- Do you know how much the dealer sells the OEM for? I guess it should be easy to replace, right?
- Any price difference if I have the dealer change it for me vs. I change it myself?

Look where the seat meats the carpet on the corner. You will be able to stick your fingers in and pull up on a lever (on both side of the car). It is fairly simple to replace. I would have the dealer do it just to be safe and possibly make sure everything is ok and no fault codes show up with Star Diagnostics.
