Service and Warranty in HONG KONG
I just received a letter from Zung Fu (Hong Kong's ONLY Mercesdes dealership), and they are offering the "Extended Warranty & Service" (EWS) and "Maintenance Comprehensive Package" (MCP).
I wanna ask the Hong Kong members on this board if they have bought either of those packages, and if they think its worth the money. Any input will be appreciated.

Hi, I don’t know the difference between the two packages. There used to be just one—a comprehensive warranty and service program. Basically it included two free services in a year and any warranty work. I got this package for a couple of years for my old C280 several years ago. It was expensive. Depending on how much you drive (which usually is not a lot in HK), I really do not see the point of having your car serviced every 6 months even if the car has covered only a few thousands kilometres. Unless Zung Fu is offering these packages cheaply (which I seriously doubt), I would have to say they are not worth it, which is why I have not bought any of these packages for either my 2000 E55 T or my wife’s 2000 CLK55. Having said all that, having extended Zung Fu warranty may help you sell your car later on. Hope this help.
