W210 AMG Speedometer Needle Bouncing
Hey everyone!
I’m facing an annoying issue with my E50 AMG. I recently swapped the front brakes (discs and calipers) from stock to the newer CLK 5.5 AMG ones.
Two days after the brake job, I started noticing that the speedometer needle went crazy. Whenever I’m coming to a stop (below 40-30 km/h), the needle jumps up and down, all the way from 0 to 280. If I release the brake pedal, everything goes back to normal, so I’m thinking it’s somehow related to the brake system.
I’ve already tried unplugging the ABS unit and replacing the speedometer but had no luck.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
