New to this forum and starting with a question to all. These are the driver and passenger seats in a 2020 E53 AMG coupe. The driver's seat is extended from the seat back shell, and the fabric is wearing through fast. I cannot figure out how to get the seat to retract closer to the back shell. Lumbar support and side bolsters are set to zero and the dealer doesn't have any quick answers. Anyone seen this before or have any helpful suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Passenger seat with 'normal' retracted side panel. Driver's seat with extended side panel and fraying.

Reason: FYI. The issue is not driver weight or normal wear; the car has less than 20k miles. Any help appreciated.

Upholstery shop to repair or replace. Is it rubbing, or wearing from use? If it were me, and i was not about to sell, I would try a patch. No one else sees it.
