That @*!-damned wiper makes more noise than any two (or even three) wipers on any other car I've ever had.
I've tried RainX - never again.
Does this bother anyone else? And any solutions?

How about pulling up to a light and thinking there is something wrong with the engine...but no its just the big damn wiper shaking the car from side to side!!!!!

Weird - the wiper on my 2000 E55 is quiet. Might try replacing the blade first. If that doesnt work, try bending the arm - maybe too tight , or too loose against the glass...

E55JAY - I see that you have H+R Sport springs on your 2000 E55. I've been thinking about doing the same to my 2000.
I really just want a slight drop (not slammed) to tighten up the space between the stock 18" Monoblocks and the tires. Also a slight increase in rate would be good - but agin - not too stiff.
Whats your feeling about the H+R's ? Would you do it agian ? Do you have any siude pictures of your car showing the drop ? THX !

I cleaned the windshield as best I could - still squeeked on down stroke.
I cleaned the blade - still squeeked.
Ordered Bosch blades but before they arrived, I cleaned the windows again,
then sprayed silicone on towel and wiped the blade in sawing motion for 5
mins.
Not a hint of noise for the past 2 months. No Rain-X on the windshield for
me due to uneven wear.
