Something on 4 wheels..
Take designo Mocha black! I've seen this color in the showroom on a CLK Convertible - that's so awesome and you can be sure that you got something special - ask BobCanada!
This black has yellow/golden sparkels and the seats are good looking, too!

I'm a flat black guy! I had a Carbon Black M5 previously, and I don't like how those metallic blacks look slightly blue in sunlight.
But one upside on metallic blacks, you don't see swirls and scratches as brightly as flat black.
Both are nice...just a matter of taste

I waited four months because I wanted Obsidian over the flat black. In the end, it's always a matter of personal preference. Some have commented that the metallic black resists swirling and scratches better, but I haven't had my car long enough to comment on this. But I can tell you that the Obsidian color adds a faint shimmer to the car. So, when you see it from a distance, it has a slight refractive quality that is appealing to me.

Tesla
black is still THE color for Mercedes. however, if you plan to keep the car for a long time, I would steer away from that color. The swirl marks are there and will only get worse, unless if you want to spend the time to go through multiple layer zymol applications which is a pain in the ***.
Even brand new black cars will have swirl marks. Just go to your local dealer on a sunny day and take a close look. When I picked up our last black car I mentioned it to the salesperson, but then all other cars had them too. But they look so beautiful at sunset/evening hours, makes you want to forget about the maintance.

Dealers are the worst when it comes to washing your car...dirty towels, extremely diluted car wash solution (no lubercation), etc. Say "no" to dealer washes!
