Converting DVD Nav-->DVD player Inf is HERE

Hello, E55 Members, If anyone is interested of converting DVD Nav--->DVD player, Here is the Information. For Southern California People Only!!!!!

For which car?
-Any Mercedes from C class to SL Class and Lexus

How much is the Price?
-$1350 Installed for C~SL class, As everyone know, MB Factory parts are expensive, But I tried my best to get the fair price.....

Location of the Shop?
-Audioplanet Motorsports Near Staple Center in L.A
-Phone number is 213-748-2332 ask for David
-If he's not there, call 323-731-0781

How long does it Take?
-First go to the shop, then they will take out some parts needed, You can take your car back, "Only bad thing is you won't have audio sound for a (WEEK)!!! Then you come back to the shop in a week, then it will take about half day for an installation!!!

Work experience?
-15 years in Audio, Tint, and alarm, and He has done this to MB in the past few years

Any warranty?
-Yes, after David install everything, and if there's any problem, bring the car back, he'll take care!!!!!!

-If you have more question regarding of DVD sys-->DVD player, Please call David and ask him, He'll tell you more in Detail....

For $150 more, why don't you just swap the headunit with a Euro COMAND so you have factory headunit that was designed to play video in the first place? That's a pretty expensive mod.

for 1350 US I'd rather buy a 20" LCD monitor and home theatre and install it in my car lmao... no really thats too much just so i can play dvds in my car lol

Btw can i play dvds through a nav cd rom?

ALL I know is that There will be a DVD option showing in the screen....other questions, Best way to contact the number I provided... Hmmm what's the cheap mod can we do for our mercedes.......
So you are saying $1,500 just for the Euro Command HU W/out installation??

If you have a US Spec COMAND, you can trade it in for a $1000 credit towards the $2500 Euro COMAND unit which includes installation from MBenzNL.

Does this swap your shop is talking about retain US-Spec AM radio specs, and the built in SIRIUS Sat Radio capabilities? If so, then it makes it a more lucrative setup.
