check engine light

My check engine light came on for an oxygen sensor. Next time I drove the car it was off and hasn't come back on since. Does this mean the problem doesnt exsist anymore?

Also OBD II scanner read it as oxygen sensor malfuction

Did you clear the CEL with the scanner? If you cleared it that way, it will take a few computer scans before CEL will illuminate again if one of the O2 sensors is really bad. What was the code?

P0130 O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Tried to clear it usign the reader liked 5 times but after each try it was still reading it.

Is bank 1 sensor 1 the right front O2?

Aye, the dreaded Check Engine light haunts yet again...

I just got mine fixed, but I'm not sure what was causing it.

Bank 1 sensor 1 is on the passenger side before the catalytic converter. If I'm not mistaken, it is accessible from the engine bay close to the firewall. You just need to change it. The CEL will clear itself once it has been changed. Since you have the OBDII scanner, I guess check again after changing the O2 sensor.
