Sometimes it's all about perspective. Perhaps viewing the ML as a "rental" may help ease some of the pain.
Truth is that we are all "renting" everything everyday. That's why it's so important that you try to enjoy each day as it comes... eventually we all run out of them.

Bob, as you already know you have one the fastest sedan on the planet, which has the whole package such as comfort, luxury, power and can outperform most cars out there including sports cars. If I were you I'd think twice before letting it go. If you're mainly doing this to save $$ and for winter driving you could always go for a much cheaper 4WD SUV instead of the ML which is good for winter. Having a nice house is always nice but as a guy you'd be much happier having a true beast parked in the garage. :v
