California Highway Cameras using Laser
Driving in the bay area has just gotten more interesting. If you go to
www.511.org
you will find that you can get the current speeds of traffic throughout the bay area. But lately my Valentine has been going crazy with Laser alerts. Every time it goes off, I look up and see one of those cameras overhead, either on a lamp post or on a highway sign. I assume they are just using laser to hit the tops of cars to give data to that website. My blinder never goes off, which tells me they are not hitting the front or rear of my vehcile (closer to the ground).
Anyone else notice this around here, or is this happening in your area?
