That's a hard one M5.....depends on what you want...option 1 threw me off.

If you want her to LOOK better and have a little performance...then of course option 1...but if you want straight out performance....you gotta go Kleemann or EVO Pullies AND Chip. Makes the Beast so much more beastier.

Chip alone is nice but really doesn't make her THAT much more snippy. Throttle response will be improved and that feels a lot better.

If nervous about warranty issues....just go 19's and chip....can't really go wrong with that.

I wouldn't do the Lorinser spoiler, but that's just me.

i would do the kleeman lsd then ecu/pulleys,address the more important issues first, traction.then add more power, then cooling issues.

Yeah...Its hard One...one day I think one thinng the other is another...

Makes me confused...

Then Mr. Holger who runs Kleemann Germany, he was actually the designer of whole Kleemann exhaust system ( headers and so on) tlod me then E55 engine has cooling issues and runs very Hot 880 (i've posted this info before) and he said we have not done any mods just pullies and ECU, since higher Boost pressure will make engine to runn even hoter and this could cause serious damage runing at WOT.

The this MKB guys say 'we have best products for AMG car' and E55 does not have any cooling problems, nobody know those cars like we do...The founder of MKB was AMG man before...

Then people saying that E55 has a traction problems and needs LSD and its cheap as well...

I wanna do it, but I dont wanna blow my engine...Does High Prerssure elctric water pump really solves that porblem??? Or headers, cause Kleemann G says better get header, better flow less temperature in Mainfolds...

You see...fu*****difficult to deside...I definately want more power, but concerned about heating issue of E55...

I voted for the Kleemann pulley & ECU but I MEANT to vote for the Kleemann headers. I am not thrilled with the Kleemann ECU but the headers, pulley, and the LSD seem to be wonderful.

Pullies

Me too are leaning more towards Kleemann Headers but I I think I need a ECU to work with it....You say Kleemann ECU is not that good, Kleemann has told its only worth 10HP...

Sorry for a stupid Question but what exactly do Pullies to the Kommprssor, they increase the speed and???

Aslo anyone knows, if I remove all 4 cats and leave O2 sensors in place, everything should work Fine...Right...If I remove CATs this will make a better outflow, will this make the temperarues lower as well?

If I do just an ECU, and add High Flow Water Pump, will it help with Engine Temps...???

But then if the like Kleemanns say the temps are to hing in Engine mainfold, Water Pump would niot help...right???

Did I make you confused as welll

I'm not saying it's not that good. My MB guy who is working on it just told me he thought it was too lean so the jury is still out on the ECU for me.

As I understand the pulley deal is that it is smaller thus requiring less work to turn it which powers ac, power steering, etc. With it taking less power, more remains for the car. That's the crude explanation that was given to me.

I'll leave the rest to someone who actually knows cars.

I believe that the pulley has a larger circumference, thus when spun the same speed as the stock one the outer edge is actually moving faster than stock therefore spinning the Kompressor faster making approx. 3 psi more boost

I would go with the LSD and build up from there. It would be a great basis for future mods...

regarding the MKB option, does anyone know of forum members who have gotten the MKB performance tuning (Stage 1 or higher)?

Not sure if anyone here has got MKB kits, but I know its a very good Mercs tuner...

LSD I think is agood start, MKB makes 45% lock up but its costs twice as much as Kleemann 60%...
