I was told that MB puts an ultraviolet marking on the stock pulley (or crank) to see if it was every switched out.

Reason I'm asking...was thinking about buying the pulley setup and if a problem came about, I could swap back to the stock pulley and it would be under warranty.

You guys know if any such marking or seal that gets broken with the stock crank pulley (or crank)?

Which SC pulley kit are you looking at purchasing? I have spoke to most anyone who makes a kit for our car (Renntech, Kleemann, Brabus, EvoSport) and I found someone who will build the pulley kit for literally $1-2k less than all of them.

I would like to know if you are thinking of using someone who I did not list above. I want to make sure I look at all my options.

I've heard the sensors in the E55 do a decent (maybe not great, but decent) job of detecting the additional air flow and adjust the fuel mixture accordingly. Is it optimal, probably not, but if you dyno before and after you will definitely see an improved power result. Although, the power band may now be irregular and need optimizing.
