Seems like designers are starting to sweep the headlight assemblies more and more up toward the driver.... seems like even the new CLS65 has part of the assembly sweeping way up the front fender....

Guess it will grow on me....what's your thought?

i love em, the m5's headlights are by no means the worst part imo. except i hate the black background. i like the CHROME lights. and no fogs on the m??? thats gotta go. err....be put in.

I hate it, it ruins the CLS for me currently, the area where the fender and hood meet the headlight is normally one of my favorite parts on a car as far as the lines go. Look at examples like a Ferrari 360 or an Aston Martin DB9 and you'll see that the headlights look agressive and are styled toward the driver, but they dont make this funky L shape. Im hoping this trend goes the way of those wierd black plasic rear window covers put on camaros in the 80s.

I love the CLS headlights, the car looks really aggressive and its mostly due to those swept lights. That and the AMG bumper for the 55.

Yes I was also confused when i read this. Sorry to state the obvious but it's not as if the CLS 65 has different headlights to the 55, 500 or 350...

Maybe I'm missing something?
