Well, I just drove the car and all I can say is OMG! I have to learn how to use the cruise control just to keep it within break in guidelines. It wants to run and 80 just doesn't do it Only took it for about a 5 mile drive but really had a ball doing it I also got to drive the SLK all day while Wolf had my car so it was a great day!

I need to get my pics up too. I’m so glad you finally got it Kim, it looks awesome. Well I have 800 miles to go to break t in.. My wife drives a Cayenne Turbo and I’m the one driving the E55T. The S6 Avant is the house car used to get groceries(although I'm abit nervous that the ladies of the house are driving in such a fast car, though it's nice to have it when another car is in the shop). I’m 30 and have no problem driving the E55T(ps an E500 might be a woman’s car but not the AMG). I’ve gotten so many thumbs up its awesome.. Not to mention this wagon is quite unique. I thinks its the only one in the tri-county area...: cool:
I’ve decided I’m not going to RennTech it.. for NOW(not saying that I’m not). I just want to enjoy it and the though of the car being in the shop for a day is not appealing. I’m like a little kid. Yesterday I left early from work because I just couldn’t resist.. LOL I’m sure you are feeling the same thing Kim.

The original E55 wagon order guide did not have the power tailgate as an option. Apparently it showed up on a subsequent guide. I specially requested it but my dealer screwed up and “assumed” it was standard equipment as it was not on the order guide.

I had it on my E500 wagon and it was a nice feature. I would think it would be expensive to try and retrofit.
