There were no drags at the Challenge in Homestead.

However, at the Atlanta AMG Meet the CLS was about 2 tenths quicker in the 1/4 mile (stock vs. stock). The CLS also put down about 10 more hp (at the wheels) than the E55.

I'm betting less restrictive exhaust. Listen to a CLS55 on the dyno (as I did with Schiznick's), and you'll tell a major difference in sound - way more aggressive than the E55.
