Derek,
Very nice run. What makes Derek's run so impressive is the fact that he drove it to the track, ran a 11.25, and then drove it home. I am 100% positive that '68 Camaro was towed on a trailer like my '70 SS Camaro(see attached pic) . The best time she ran was in the 9.20's at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading Pa. like 15 years ago. I have since sold that Camaro and got out of drag racing. No way could I have driven that thing to the track with 13.5 compression on 116 octane with a 5 Gallon fuel cell and open headers, similar to the red camaro in Derek's vid.

Derek the next time your up east try Maplegrove Raceway. I always got the best times there. Ask any of the NHRA guys it's one fast track. I never did like Atco only because it was at the time( late 80's to early 90's ) a crap of a facility, plus it was over 2 hours from my house.

Next time your up let me know if you go to E-town, I only live 30 minutes from that track.

Best Wishes and Congrads on that awesome time

Ohh I almost forgot. Would someone send Dereks Vid to the M5 boards. I just want to see the look on their faces :p

I have never seen an M5 or any 4 door German car run a 11.25 like Derek

Hey man, how are you? I forgot to arm the spray on our run. Unfortunately, I did not keep that run because of the time. I wish we had caught up sooner. Sorry.

It’s all good, I didn’t think you were on the spray!!, I remember your engine bay looked stock clean, either way
There is nothing more satisfying than embarrassing a Z06 in 4dr sedan, it’s only more satisfying when their girlfriends in the passenger seat.
